The Japanese art of kintsugi involves repairing broken pieces of objects with gold. It is a lovely symbol of highlighting what is damaged and scarred, vulnerable and imperfect. The song Kintsugi is about how each of us embraces our evolution of healing. The lyric, "Let's weave the future golden," encourages each of us to look for the healing gold in our scars, in the things that "broke" us. And to see those scars as essential to masterpiece that we are becoming, flaws and ALL.
